Mennonite Disaster Service
Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) is an organization that coordinates clean up and reconstruction after natural disasters around North America. Since 1950, they have been recruiting, organizing and empowering volunteers to repair and rebuild the homes of those impacted by disasters in the United States and Canada.

The MDS Canada Service Scholarship was established to encourage post-secondary students to serve with MDS, while also offering financial support for their education.
A total of up to eight scholarships are available each year to students enrolled at the following schools: Canadian Mennonite University (CMU), Columbia Bible College (CBC), Conrad Grebel University College, Steinbach Bible College (SBC).
