Dr. Hiebert may not be a great gardener, but she cultivates a love for poetry both inside and outside of the classroom. Her research interests revolve around Canadian literature, especially prairie poetry written by women, and the reclamation of maternal voices in literature. Her life is enriched through writing, singing, painting, coffeeing with friends, and traveling with family.
