A Bit About Garth
Garth Friesen loves to explore the process of how youth & young adults grow spiritually. He has been inspiring college students in the areas of youth ministry, conflict resolution, leadership and the Psalms since 2002. Garth and his wife Wendy have three adventurous kids and love hosting people at their home or retreat property. Garth continues to be active in youth ministry as a volunteer youth worker at his home church, Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, and often speaks at youth retreats and camps. He enjoys equipping other youth workers through his involvement with Youth Workers Community (YWC) and chairs the local youth ministry association (SAYL) in Steinbach. Garth’s background in ministry includes youth, young adults, and camp ministry. He loves spending time in the outdoors by mountain biking year round and running a local mountain bike club.
