Leadership Conference 2022

Steinbach Bible College, along with our supporting conferences, are excited to host the 2022 Leadership Conference on March 11 – 12 with speaker Ken Shigematsu.
THEME: Now I Become Myself: Overcoming Shame and Discovering Our True Self
Before sin entered the world, we are told in Genesis 2:25 that Adam and Eve were free from feelings of shame. As they discovered soon after by eating the fruit in Genesis 3, shame separates us from God as we begin to hide ourselves and fixate on our shortcomings. How do we overcome these fears? Join Ken Shigematsu, the Senior Pastor at Tenth Church in Vancouver, B.C., as he explores how to experience a genuine sense of belonging and connection in the community of Christ. Steinbach Bible College is excited to present the 2022 Leadership Conference titled Now I Become Myself: Overcoming Shame and Discovering Our True Self.
Ken Shigematsu is the Senior Pastor of Tenth Church in Vancouver, B.C., one of the largest and most diverse city-center churches in Canada. He is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal awarded to Canadians in recognition for their outstanding contribution to the country. Before entering pastoral ministry, he worked for the Sony Corporation in Tokyo. Ken is the author of the award-winning bestsellers ‘God in My Everything’ and ‘Survival Guide for the Soul‘. Ken lives in Vancouver with his wife, Sakiko, and their son, Joey.

Possible alternate session – “Healed by Joy”
COST: $20 per person (online), $50 per person (in-person), $100 for a site license for churches
Registration deadline is Friday, March 4.
*Due to current government restrictions, we are allowed are allowed to have 150 people in the chapel.*
