SBC Defers Pursuit 2021

After careful consideration, SBC has made the decision to defer the January 2021 session of Pursuit, the 4-month discipleship program, until the Fall of 2021.

“Pursuit is a program built on hands-on experiences, practical application, and missional experiences,” says Randy Krahn, Director of Pursuit. “While we are disappointed to be waiting a little longer to launch the next session of Pursuit than we had hoped, I am so excited to see us continue to build on the strengths of our program to see our students grow spiritually, develop as leaders, and discover their gifts.”

The move of Pursuit to the fall will provide the opportunity to run a tremendous program which will include camp partnerships, Canadian travel, and immersive mission’s experiences. The move also provides opportunity for SBC to run a second Pursuit session in the same academic year, beginning January 2022.

Pursuit 2021 will continue to be a program that focuses on experiential learning, practical application, and missional experiences and SBC looks forward to the ways in which it can continue to develop this exciting program for young adults seeking hands-on adventure and experience based learning.

Krahn adds, “Pursuit is not cancelled, just postponed. We are so excited for students to learn more about who God has created them to be!”

More information will be released at a later date.
