Though both golf tournaments were threatened by rain, the wet weather held off for both days as golfers came out to support higher education at SBC!

185 golfers hit the greens at Quarry Oaks Golf Course near Steinbach on June 4th, while a record 135 golfers came out to Minnewasta Golf Club in Morden on June 18th.

Through this generosity, golfers, sponsors, and generous donors helped SBC raise $112,835, the highest total the college has ever raised in our history of putting on golf tournaments! These funds will go towards supporting students and Christian higher education at SBC.

The team of Craig Loewen, Chris Siemens, and Dwight Loewen had the top of the Quarry Oaks tournament with a score of 58 (-14), while the Plett team consisting of Barry, Jayden, Trenton, and Dion shot the best score at Minnewasta with a 60 (-12). 

SBC would like to thank all of our staff, volunteers and sponsors that helped make this tournament possible! Thanks to Quarry Oaks and Minnewasta for their hospitality in allowing us to host these events.
