The Gospel is for Everyone

Hello friends! It is exciting to tell you about the different things that we have been doing throughout the week in Algeciras (see panoramic picture above)! As mentioned in the previous update, we have been working at the Renacer Church, giving the building a bit of a face-lift through painting parts of the interior and exterior. We worked on this throughout the day on Wednesday, stopping at lunch to share a meal with a few people from the congregation also helping with this project. It was incredible to see the progress the group made in one day, and to bless this church with this act of service.

One notable event that occurred in the evening was a prayer night at the church. Our group and others from the church gathered together to sing and pray for the different prayer requests. While our group had already gotten the privilege of attending a church service a few day before this, it was amazing to hear people praying and singing in a different language.

This shows how the gospel is for everyone, and that God continues to work across the globe. I know that there are Christians throughout the world, worshiping and praising Him, but to be there and see it is an incredible experience. It brings great joy to me and the rest of the team.

As we continue to explore and experience what missions is like as a team in Spain, pray that God would continue to open our eyes to see how God is working and where work needs to get done. Pray that we would continue to work well as a team, even though there are trials that we face.
