This course is focused on providing students with an overview of youth ministry in the church and para-church (drop-in centres, camp ministry, etc). It will also examine current youth culture trends, youth issues, adolescent development, and explore applicable youth ministry tools. Some of the practical skills gained will be to plan & lead a youth ministry gathering.
