Willowlake Baptist Church (WBC) is hiring a Director of Youth Ministries to help support and grow our youth and young adult ministries.

We are a small, suburban, multi-generational faith community, affiliated with the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada (CBWC). Our church’s vision is to “connect, grow and serve” in our relationship with God, one another, and our neighbourhood.

The Director of Youth Ministry assists our church in reaching, loving and making disciples of youth and young adults. They responsible for the leadership of programs and activities for youth and young adults as they cross different life stages, in partnership with the church, homes and communities. They are expected to be a regular part of church life, including attendance and participation in weekly Sunday services, leading and developing our Tuesday night junior high youth group, and reaching out to senior high students and young adults in our church and community.

Opportunities to be a part of leadership in the church, including hosting services, leading worship, or preaching, may be part of the opportunities involved in the role, depending on the giftings, callings and interest of the candidate.

The ideal candidate will have a heart for God, mature faith, and be passionate about reaching youth and young adults. Position open until filled.
