Rest & Preparation

Hello friends and family!
On Thursday we had a day of preparation and rest before camp this weekend. In the morning we met as a group, and talked through some plans. We figured out most of the plan for camp, and then we dispersed to go do our laundry.
There were three laundromats in the area, but it still took a couple hours for the whole group to finish. During this time we also had some very interesting interactions with some very interesting people, so that was quite interesting.
For lunch, we went to a shawarma place near the hotel. This is my favourite kind of food, so I was quite excited. After eating we went shopping for some food and other things we needed for camp.
After some more rest in the afternoon, we went to a restaurant for dinner around 8. This was another great time of experiencing the culture in the area, and noticing many things that were different than we are used to.
This weekend we are running a youth camp. Please pray for energy for the team, and that we may have deep and beautiful connections with our new Spanish friends.
