Youth Night (& a Few Snails)

Today we got to sleep in as yesterday was so busy. The day started with a great breakfast and then the team met at Carl and Lisa’s place for a devotion, debriefing, and preparation for the youth night.

After that, the women went out with a few local women for lunch and to connect. The rest of us went to a local restaurant near our apartment and tried snails for the first time - they are very good!

We then started cleaning up the apartment that the guys stayed in so that it will be quicker in the morning to get everything done. Some of the team also prepared for the youth night by shopping for snacks and preparing worship for the night.

The youth night at Renacer was amazing and it started with worship in both languages. Then two testimonies from both groups which were powerful reminders of how God works in unique ways in different people. To close we had snack and played two group games that were really fun.

We then had a late supper with them at Burger King and then said a heartfelt see you later as we travel to North Africa tomorrow.

Please be praying for us as we settle into 4 days in Morocco. A few of the team are still not feeling healthy, and there are a few adjustments as we settle in to a new country and culture.
