Student Life
SBC provides a friendly, positive atmosphere where development of the student’s Christian life is priority. The college is committed to standards of conduct both on and off campus that reflect the highest Christian principles in personal habits, interpersonal relationships, and activities.
Campus life is under the direction of the Student Development Department.
Student guidance includes an orientation program for new students. We offer Discipling, Mentoring, and Counselling to students throughout the semester in areas of personal problems, interpersonal relationships, academic difficulties, and vocational choices.

A variety of events and shared experiences help grow strong relationships with in the community. These include an All College Fall Retreat, Impact Weekend (discipleship weekend hosting youth groups on campus), Hootenany (SBC's talent show), Open Dorm, Christmas Banquet, and Class Socials.
Dorm students are placed into small Care Groups where close relationships can form and where intentional spiritual and discipleship growth happens. These Care Groups get together weekly and are lead by our student Care Group Leaders. We have regular lunch events for commuting students and a Married Student Care Group for our married students and their families.

Regular Chapels are an integral part of our Student Life. Chapel programming is designed to bring students into daily interaction with God through singing, prayer, listening to His Word, and times of personal reflection.
