Free Servant

Free Servant is SBC’s traveling student worship team. Free Servant leads worship in chapel, at youth events, at on-campus events and in churches. Their purpose is to draw the congregation closer to God through spirit-filled worship.

As part of the public ministry teams of SBC, Free Servant travels to churches, youth groups ministering to people while promoting the college. The team will be heading west on a tour at the end of the second semester.

Ignite!

Ignite! combines the sounds of a fully voiced choir with a contemporary repertoire of music. Ignite! performs at a variety of campus events, churches and schools throughout the year.

This year Ignite! will be presenting the Easter Musical East to West. This is a participatory musical that presents the gospel story through word and song. Ignite! will be touring southern Ontario during Easter break.

New Creation

New Creation is SBC’s drama troupe. This 6-member drama team spends the college year preparing various sketches as well as full-length production for ministry in schools, communities and church groups throughout southeastern Manitoba. After graduation, New Creation will go on a two week tour together with Free Servant.

Auditions for all ministry teams are held during registration week.
