Public Events

A popular topic in many churches is understanding the sequence of events surrounding the return of Christ. There is an abundance of theories and a natural curiosity to understand what will happen in the end. This seminar will explore a biblical perspective for thinking through an end times theology.

Tim Houck, a youth ministry veteran currently serving with Truth Matters Ministries, will be teaching this seminar in conjunction with his course entitled "Intro to Youth Ministry". This one evening seminar is focused on equipping new youth workers to face some of the basic issues in youth ministry.

November 2, 2009 

Many churches have begun to incorporate the use of projection technology to display song lyrics, sermon notes, etc. This session will give some hands on tools to make those presentations effective and a meaningful part of worship. Technology ministry volunteers are especially invited to attend. 

October 19, 2009 

This evening seminar will address the problem of evil and address some of the recent books published concerning this topic. This would be an excellent session for anyone currently in ministry.

October 5, 2009 

This evening session will focus on preparing a lesson plan that effectively communicates your desired material. Encourage your children’s ministry people to take advantage of this important training opportunity.

Doc's Holiday

Doc's house is a special place. But, then again, Doc is a special person. He takes great joy from life and makes sure to share this zeal with all who cross his threshold-and many nutty and needy people do. Unfortunately, the only one who doesn't understand this is Doc's own family.
