Alumni Updates

LaVerna continues to develop her career in social work with seniors, and Tim continues as pastor of Danforth Mennonite Church in Toronto. Our oldest daughter Diedre graduated from CMU in 2005 and married Aaron Sportack in 2006. They now live in Vancouver and attend Peace Mennonite Church. Our second oldest, Tobin, will marry Meghan Voth in May.

Jim is still employed with Kitchen Craft in Winnipeg and Virginia at Child Evangelism Fellowship of Manitoba. We attend the Evangelical Free Church on Lagimodiere Blvd. (Wpg.) where Virginia teaches/helps at the Girls Club each Wednesday evening and sings in the choir. In December of 2006, our oldest son, Travis, married Sue.

I teach Math and Science at Ross L. Gray School in Sprague, MB.  This is our 4th year here.  Previously we taught at Nelson House for 3 years.
